Nuclear Medicine Center to open in Semey

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - December of the current year on the basis of the Regional Oncology Center the of Semey city Nuclear Medicine Center will be opened, this has been announce by Vice-Minister of Health and Social Development Serikbol Musin at Central Communications Service briefing.
"Today, Kazakhstan has taken serious measures for the development and modernization of cancer services. We plan to open in 2015 five high-tech centers of radiation oncology in Semey, Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, and Karaganda," - said Serikbol Musin. According to his words, the Ministry should focus on issues of child and infant mortality. In comparison with 2009 infant mortality in Kazakhstan decreased 1.6 times.
