Nuclear and radiation physics conference started in Almaty

ALMATY. September 20. KAZINFORM /Berik Bekmurzayev/ "This conference sets record by attendance and a wide range of topics brought up for discussion, and I believe, it will yield good results," director general of the National Nuclear Centre of Kazakhstan Kairat Kadyrzhanov told at the opening of the VIII international conference on "Nuclear and radiation physics" in Almaty.
The conference dated to the 20th anniversary of the country's independence is taking place in Almaty enjoying the participation of 200 scientists from 19 states of the world. This year it will focus on nuclear power stations modern projects.
