Nowruz gala reception held in Kazakhstan Embassy in Russia
MOSCOW. April 1. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan Embassy in Russia held a gala reception devoted to Nowruz in Moscow.
The celebration was attended by representatives of the federal government, the Russian expert community and media, heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the Russian Federation.
The representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora in Moscow introduced the guests to the national customs, traditions, history and culture of the Kazakh people. In a specially installed yurt there was reconstruction of the interior of a typical dwelling of nomadic people. Traditionally for the spring festival there took place one of the highlights rites called "Betashar" and the young paluans (knights) showed their skills in "қazaқsha kүres" combat.
At the celebration the Philharmonic of the West Kazakhstan region presented extensive concert program that introduced viewers to the Kazakh folk art - music, songs and dances.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Russia Galym Orazbakov congratulated those present on the spring holiday Nowruz. "Let there be prosperity, good luck! Suppose that we are successful, eternal friendship and peace between our peoples. Nowruz қүtty bolsyn! Ak bolsyn! ", said the head of the diplomatic mission.
At the end of the event there was a buffet table, where guests were able to enjoy the Kazakh national cuisine and try the main entertainment - nauryz kөzhe.
According to the deputy of the State Duma of Maxim Shingarkin there is no contradiction in relations between Russia and Kazakhstan. As for the foreign policy, the two countries have consistent and strong positions. "Our people are moving into the future in the same direction, he said. I would like to congratulate the people of Kazakhstan and the Muslims of Russia with Nowruz spring holiday! ".
Representative of the Kazakh Diaspora, a board member of the Moscow Society "Kazak tili" Zhaugashty Toktamysov said that Nowruz holiday is a good excuse to get together with fellow countrymen. Many of those who have not lived the first year in Russia, traditionally visit each other on the occasion.
