Norway keen on long-term coop with Kazakhstan in oil and gas - Elizabeth Valaas

KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Norway is interested in long-term cooperation with Kazakhstan in oil and gas sphere, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway Elizabeth Valaas has said after a meeting with her Kazakh counterpart Kanat Saudabayev in Astana Wednesday. "I hope we will reach success in deepening our relations within my visit to Kazakhstan", she added.
Norwegian Company Statoil has been functioning in Kazakhstan for several years. "The Company is ready to share its experience with the Kazakhstani companies and be involved in development of oil resources", the foreign guest noted.
Kazakhstan's OSCE presidency in 2010 was also touched upon by the parties. "This is a great opportunity for your country to promote the Organization's values both in Kazakhstan and Central Asia", E. Valaas stressed.
