According to him the potential of attracting foreign investments is quite big. 'Foreign Investments are very important because along with money new technologies are coming to the industry and the market becomes more accessible', A. Issekeshev said.

The Minister also emphasized that Kazakhstan had great potential for fulfilling it. In particular the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty City has a lot of work done on this direction. The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies jointly with the National Welfare Fund SamrukKazyna and state bodies work on 150 investment projects and foreign investors from 21 countries.

'These numbers are not what we wanted. The Program on attracting investments within the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development which was approved at the sitting of the State Commission last week is very important', A. Issekeshev added.
