Nobel laureate Jaures Alferov will attend Mini-EXPO 2014
UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Ust-Kamenogorsk has completed a design competition for participation in "Mini -EXPO 2014" exhibition which will take place on May 25 in the regional industrial park "Altai".
Expert commission has selected 21 projects from 86 "green economy" innovative projects submitted.
According to the Head of Tourism and Foreign Relations Erjan Sembinov, the event will be participated by well-known representatives of the international scientific community including the Nobel Prize winner in Physics -Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Jaures Alferov. Klaus Thiessen from Germany, Lali Perdzinishvili from Georgia , Giuseppe Eramo of Italy, President of the "Kyoto neutronics" Takashi Kamei have been invited to the exhibition. In addition, "Mini -EXPO 2014" will be attended by famous inventors including Russian inventor Vyacheslav Pershin.
According to head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control of East Kazakhstan region Kalikana Baygonusova, "holding "Mini Expo-2014" will create an effective platform to generate and implement new ideas in "green" energy. Our region has unique opportunities and prerequisites for the realization of the idea of transition to "green" economy. The exhibition will give a new impetus to the development of economic and scientific integration of Kazakhstan with other countries".
