No precipitation predicted in Kazakhstan on April 17
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Weather without precipitation is expected in the western, northeastern and center of parts of the country, Kazhydromet informs.
Fog, strong wind of up to 15-20 mps is predicted for Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay regions. In West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, and Atyrau regions wind will strengthen to 15-20 mps. Fog will blanket Mangystau, Pavlodar, and Karaganda regions. Wind of 15-20 mps will blow in South Kazakhstan region. Foggy weather is expected in Zhambyl region. In the next day on the rivers of Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda and Kostanay regions will further develop spring flood. Sharp rises in water levels in the regions is expected. Complex hydrological conditions still remain in Karaganda region. Snowmelt in East Kazakhstan region will cause further rising of water levels. Spills and flooding is possible. Water flow increase is expected on lowland rivers of the southern and south-eastern.
