ASTANA. KAZINFORM -Yaroslava Shvedova has crashed out of the 2014 US Open in New York, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
In the first-round match Shvedova lost to Romanian Monica Niculescu in three sets 7:6, 1:6, 5:7. The Kazakh athlete served 2 aces and made 13 double faults. Up next for Niculescu is Barbora Zahlavova-Strycova from the Czech Republic.
