Nice wheels: Kazakhstan launches production of luxury KIA Quoris
UST-KAMENOGORSK. March 31. KAZINFORM Production of KIA Quoris full-size sedan was launched in Ust-Kamenogorsk, eastern Kazakhstan this week.
KIA Quoris, also known as KIA K9, is the tenth KIA model to be assembled by AZIA AVTO in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The launch of the new KIA Motors model started amid unprecedented success of the brand in Kazakhstan.
At the launching ceremony, it was noted that developers were to create a car that could compete with European vehicles and epitomize the future of the brand.
According to First Vice President of "AZIA AVTO" JSC Erik Sagymbayev, KIA Quoris sedan is not the first executive-class car produced together with South Korean automaker KIA Motors. KIA Cadenza was one of the most popular cars and a hit of auto sales in Kazakhstan last year.
