NGOs in West Kazakhstan region receive support
URALSK. January 28. KAZINFORM /Yelzhan Yeraly/ Nongovernmental organizations in West Kazakhstan region are rendered support.
As Deputy Head of the Internal Policy Administration of the regional akimat Muratkali Toregeldiyev informed, about 100 NGOs are actively working in the region from which 35-40 ones deal with the implementation of social projects. Last year KZT 20 mln 250 thousand was allocated for this purpose whereas KZT 14 mln was allotted for social research works.
Over KZT 6 mln was used for explication of priorities of the President's Address to the Nation; KZT 4 mln 390 thousand was spent for antirecessionary measures, KZT 2 mln - for treatment of disabled children. The allocation of funds for such measures is envisaged this year as well.
