Newborn children honored in maternity clinics of the city on the Day of the First President

Over the half of the day 7 babies were born today in the perinatal center №1, and 8 children were born in the city maternity clinic. Currently 75 women are registered in the city whose forecasted delivery date is on December 1. They all will get postcards and presents.

“On the average, 25 babies are born a day, this morning 6 children were born: 3 boys and 3 girls. All the children are healthy. To celebrate the Day of the First President we present educational guides for parents “Қуан, сәби” to help the mothers to get their direction how to look after a baby, starting from breast feeding and to monitor baby’s further development, and also we present baby costumes”, - neonatologist of mother and child department of the perinatal center №1 Gulnaz Baishulakova told astana.kz.

Note that this action emphasizes social character of the strategic course of the Head of the state aimed at wealth enhancing of Kazakhstani citizens and improvement of demographic situation in the country.

“On December 1 in the morning 8 children were born here: 5 girls and 3 boys. We are very glad that these children were born on the Day of the First President. Let these children achieve success just like our President”, - the chief physician of the city maternity clinic Elena Tikhomirova noted.

It’s worth noting that birth rate in Astana increases smoothly; so, in 2010, 16 444 children were born in city obstetric institutions, in 2011 - 19 177 children; in 2012 - 21 266; and over 10 months of 2013 - 18 871 children. Almost each fourth resident of the capital is a child.

“My daughter has a birthday today, and today we are celebrating the day of the First President. Thanks to him we’ve reached such achievements , and today it’s also my birthday; and I’ve got such a wonderful present, although another date was forecasted. So I have a triple holiday today”, - one of new mothers Almagul Sundukeeva said.
