New York marks Nauryz

ASTANA. April 12. KAZINFORM New York celebrated Nauryz dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence on April 9. It was organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan with the assistance of Non-Profit Organization Kazakh American Alliance and sponsored by SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund and KTG trade company; the Consulate General reports.
The American public was interested in it. Over 250 representatives of the US official, business and public circles, foreign diplomatic corps, the Kazakh Diaspora visited the event.
The gathered were also familiarized with Kazakhstan's success over the years of independence, the results of the presidential elections as well as with origins and philosophy of Nauryz holiday.
