"New-Year fairy tale in the Kazakh style» to be held in Astana
ASTANA. December 7. KAZINFORM On December 8 the Museum of Modern Art is hosting the opening of the Republican contest exhibition "New-Year fairy tale in the Kazakh style". This was reported to astana.kz in the Museum of Modern Art.
The contest will represent over 700 works in the form of New-Year paintings, crafts and Christmas-tree decorations. According to the rules and conditions of the contest, the winners will be determined in three nominations: "Painting", "Doll" and "Christmas-tree decoration". Contestants should reflect their knowledge of the history, traditions and culture of Kazakhstan.
"Pretenders can draw, make dolls and Christmas-tree decorations connected with the theme of Kazakhstan. This list includes not only "Bayterek" and "Khan Shatyr" in Astana or a yurt, but also Kazakh folk instruments and ornament, fairy tales, proverbs and songs. Original ideas and fantasies on Kazakh topics are welcome. One can recall that Kazakhstan is famous for nature monuments, rare birds and animals. The most important is that the works is connected with Kazakhstan", - note the organizers. After the preliminary selection of works, the best ones will be represented at the exhibition in two age categories: 5-15 years and 15-105 years. 3 places will be determined in each nomination, separately for each age group. The winners will get valuable prizes; in addition, people's choice award will be specified. Each participant of the contest will receive a certificate, and heads and the most active schools - letters of gratitude.
Recall that the Republican contest exhibition "New-Year fairy tale in the Kazakh style" will take place in the metropolitan Museum of Modern Art from December 8 to January 12, 2014.
