New Synergy Program to improve Kazakhstan and Turkey relations, Ankara meeting
ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM - Ankara hosted a conference of Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey with the participation of the general coordinator of the Eurasian Business Council Turul Yerkin, chairman of the Committee on International Agreements of the Ministry of Economy of Turkey, leading businessmen and industrialists of Turkey, representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as the Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebaev, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy informs.
The main objective of the conference is search for new areas of cooperation between the Eurasian countries, as well as the mutual attraction of investments and expansion of trade and economic ties.
Speaking at the opening of the event the chairman of the Turkish-Eurasian Business Council Turul Yerkin said that the Euro-Asian region had a high economic potential. He said that with the commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars business ties between the countries of the region will be strengthened even more.
Head of the Committee on International Treaties of the Turkish Ministry of Economy Myuge Varol Ilicak noted that the program called "New Synergies", adopted by Kazakhstan and Turkey, will have a positive impact on the economies of two countries and raise the relationship to a whole new level.
Speaking at the event Kazakh Ambassador Zhanseit Tuimebayev informed the participants about the achievements of Kazakhstan's independence, the investment climate in the country, the main provisions of the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev named "Strategy - 2050" and the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Ambassador stressed the need to strengthen mutual cooperation between the Eurasian states, noted the importance of Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan railway, which was officially opened with the participation of the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on 11 May of this year. Zhanseit Tuimebayev also said about joint Kazakh-Turkish industrial zones established in our country.
