New season starts in the Ice Palace «Alau»

“The Ice Palace is open for everybody on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 in the morning to 10.00 in the evening, and on Friday at 19.00-22.00. New schedule, new services and, which is important, former prices are waiting for guests of “Alau” in the new season”, - it is said in the message.

Based on customers’ wishes, a new service is started in the new season - skates storage. From now on, one can leave his skates at the stadium, and take them back next week dried and honed; new specialists are attracted to grinding process.

Arena food-court will be working in its new capacity in the new season. There will be plaid renting, separate changing room for visitors of mass skating. By popular request of guests, section of ice skating for adults will start functioning for the first time ever.

Over two years of mass skating, the Ice Palace hosted 100 000 visitors; it’s expected that in the new season this exponent will be achieved in six months of the project implementation.

This summer scheduled replacement of the ice was carried out in the Palace. Over the first three years of its work, nine Asian records were achieved in “Alau”, as well as the world record for lowland rinks at the distance of 3 000 metres, and at the World Cup stage, held last year, a Dutch sportsman Jorrit Bergsma was short of 8 seconds to make a world record at the distance of 10 000 metres.

New ice is build up after restoration and deep cleaning of the concrete bay, therefore the ice in “Alau” will be faster in the new season.

The new ice will be not only fast, but beautiful. For the very first time in the ice-skating history, “Alau” offers principally new approach to decoration of the ice arena. Previously they used to experiment only with colours of the warm-up track, but in “Alau” they’ve taken a step further and used original backgrounds and the stadium’s logo.
