New mayor of Stepnogorsk named

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Anuar Kumpekeyev has been appointed new akim (mayor) of the town of Stepnogorsk.
Governor of Akmola region Sergey Kulagin made the appointment while visiting the town. Born in 1984, Mr. Kumpekeyev is a graduate of the Moscow State University (Russia) and the University of Bradford (Great Britain). He has been serving as deputy akim of Stepnogorsk since 2012.
