New Internet contest for youth websites starts in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. October 9. KAZINFORM - In Kazakhstan a new contest among youth websites “Internet-Doda” is announced from October 10, astana.kz reports.
“The contest will involve all youth websites, we have to determine the best site which does its work in a quality manner. We will pay attention on quality content of the web resource, desing of a site, content, presence of grammar mistakes, traffic ranking and presence of readers’ comments”, - project coordinator Medetzhan Izguttinov said in his speech.
According to him, the contest is held for the veru first time in the republic. All youth websites with “kz” domain and which present information in the official language can take part in the contest. Applications from foreign websites, as well as Internet portal of state enterprises, printed sources, TV channels and radio channels will not be considered.
The jury includes deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Government, mass media, philologists and participants of youth organizations. Applications will be accepted from 10 to 31 of October. The results of the Internet competition will be announced in November, 2013. The winners will be rewarded with valuable prizes.
Let us recall, that the contest is announced for youth websites promoting learning of the official language and contributing to youth policy development. Its purpose is to support activity of the most dynamic web resources which provide information to the audience in Kazakh language. Non-governmental youth organization PO “Modern city” (“Современный город”) is the contest organizer.
