New industrialization to double Kazakhstan's GDP
-KAMENOGORSK. June 19. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ - Today at the Ust-Kamenogorsk forum Akims of East Kazakhstan, Karaganda and Pavlodar regions presented the regional maps of industrialization activities in their regions.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev urged to make maximum use of the potential of the region and strengthen the connections between them. The three regions make 48% of Kazakhstan's product output. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan will play a key role in this process and must act as the coordinator of the program, according to the President. Nursultan Nazarbayev assured that forced development of the forthcoming five-year stage of the country's industrialization will ensure KZT 7 trillion increase of the added value. "We will double our economy by 50% of the GDP", the President stated.
