New governor of Ulytau region named

The Head of State decreed to appoint Dastan Ryspekov a new governor of Ulytau region, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.
Born in 1984 in Karaganda region Ryspekov is a graduate of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University and Almaty Law Academy of Kazakh National University of Law and Humanities.
In 2018-2019 he headed the entrepreneurship, trade and tourism department of Pavlodar region.
In 2020-2023 headed the industry tourism committee of the Kazakh Culture and Sports Ministry.
Prior to the appointment acted as deputy governor of Ulytau region.
As earlier reported, Berik Abdygaliuly was relieved of his duties as the governor of Ulytau region.
