New Governor of East Kazakhstan region appointed

ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM Today Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has introduced new Governor of the East Kazakhstan region Berdibek Saparbayev, former Minister of Labor and Social Protection to the authorities of the region. The Deputies of the regional Maslikhat unanimously supported the candidature of the new head of the region, proposed by the President, Kazinform refers to the press service of the regional Governor.
The Prime Minister noted that this decision has specific prerequisites. First, B.Saparbayev has extensive experience in regional administration. Secondly, former Minister of Labor and Social Protection has to tackle an employment problem in the region.
B.Saparbayev thanked the President for the high degree of confidence and assured that he will justify the confidence. The Governor expressed gratitude to the Deputies of the Maslikhat for support.
Upon the results of the session the Prime Minister set the new Governor a range of tasks. He stressed the necessity of careful and circumspect personnel work in the region. Especially it concerns the executive branch of power.
