New clause of Public Procurement Law to speed up anti-crisis efforts

ASTANA. April 8. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ During today's plenary session the Majilis of Kazakhstan Parliament has reviewed the Bill on amendments to the Public Procurement Law; Kazinform reports.
Presenting the bill Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev said that it was aimed at carrying into effect the activities envisaged by the ?road map?.
The introduced clause provides purchasing of goods and services for execution of anti-recessionary measures under special procedure which implies reducing the time of public purchase processing to 15 days instead of 30 and 50 days as provided by the effective legislation. Such measure is supposed to ensure timely arrangement and implementation of the "road map" activities.
After the discussion the Majilis members approved the bill.
