New Astana boarding school will receive 375 children

The facility will be put into operation the next year. According to the website of the city administration, 375 children with disabilities will study in the new school. In accordance with the plan of construction, the future building will consist of 8 units with different functional purposes. In particular, three separate residential blocks will host 375 children with impaired vision and hearing, with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as well as for kids with complex defects. Two more buildings will be set aside for training and administration blocks. There will be almost 40 classrooms with laboratories, auditorium, and rooms for training groups of various interests. The next block will have a gymnasium and a swimming pool, as well as training and production. Separate block will be set for domestic premises and guest rooms.
