New akim of Atyrau region to control Kashagan oil deposit

ATYRAU. August 15. KAZINFORM In the course of the working trip to Atyrau region President Nazarbayev introduced newly appointed akim of the region Baktykozha Izmukhambetov to the local authorities.
In his work B. Izmukhambetov will concentrate on further development of the socio-economic potential of the region and control the petroleum operations at the Kashagan oil field.
"The new head of the region will monitor activities of oil companies at Kashagan," President Nazarbayev noted.
