Necessary to maintain ecological balance when pursuing economic policy - UN Under-Sec-Gen Sha Zukang

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan developing the economy always takes into account the ecological system vulnerability," the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Sha Zukang said during the 5th AEF.
"It is necessary to maintain the ecological balance when pursuing the economic policy," Sha Zukang told a briefing devoted to Kazakhstan's energy ecological initiatives.
In addition, S. Zukang mentioned this year the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has initiated "Sustainable energy for all" campaign and Kazakhstan contributes to its implementation.
