Necessary to establish open, honest dialogue between Muslim world and West - President

ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "It is necessary to establish an open, honest dialogue between the Muslim world and the West," President Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized delivering an address at the 38th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Astana.
"The presidency of Kazakhstan in the OIC aims at these goals. The conference for foreign ministers of the Muslim world and West was held in Astana in 2008 for the first time. We have managed to bring together more than 60 representatives from many countries, international organizations for the dialogue, strengthening of understanding between the West and countries of the Ummah. I believe this dialogue has to be continued," the President added.
