Nazarbayev vows Kazakhstan will always support WWII veterans

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The state will always take care of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has vowed at the unveiling ceremony of the monument to Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Panfilov in Astana today.

"The state does its best to help and support you, the veterans. We will always honor you, because you deserve it," President Nazarbayev addressed the veterans at the ceremony. Nursultan Nazarbayev is confident that sustainable, independent and friendly Kazakhstan is the best answer of the current generation to the Great Victory. "The country prospers and that means that you shed your blood for a reason. Stay healthy and raise youngsters in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the Motherland," the Kazakh leader concluded.
