Nazarbayev thanked Germany for supporting Kazakhstan's bid to host EXPO 2017
ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, Eckhart Cordes.
The President thanked him for his participation in preparations and opening the business forum held within the official visit paid to Berlin this February, the President's press service reports.
In is turn, Eckhart Cordes thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the meeting.
"I would like to highlight the impressive pace of economic development of Kazakhstan. I would like also to note the positive dynamics of relations between Kazakhstan and Germany. The agreement we signed this February is of great importance for the economies of Kazakhstan and Germany," he stressed.
During the meeting the parties outlined new prospects for further development of bilateral ties.
