Nazarbayev's visit to China to contribute to development of Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership
BEIJING. February 16. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ At the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay a state visit to the People's Republic of China on February 21-23. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu has made it public at a press conference on February 15.
According to the Chinese diplomat, within the visit the Kazakh President will meet with President of China Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao. The sides will exchange opinions on deepening bilateral relations and business cooperation in various spheres as well as the issues of international and regional character.
The parties will sign a number of documents on bilateral cooperation. As a part of the visit the Kazakh President will visit Tianjin city.
"I think this visit will promote further strengthening of political mutual confidence, deepening business cooperation and contribute to the development of Kazakh-Chinese relations of strategic partnership", the spokesman outlined.
