Nazarbayev's GIFA award due to promotion of human values, view
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of Social Fund "Soglasiye narodov" (Accord among peoples) Ziyabek Kabuldinov believes that President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received the Global Islamic Finance Award (GIFA) for promoting general human values.
"This was the right thing to do because Nursultan Nazarbayev has done a lot for increasing tolerance among the states and peoples of Eurasia," Mr. Kabuldinov said. He also added that nowadays Kazakhstan plays the host to many high-profile events, including the Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions. Besides, Kazakhstan is gearing up to hold the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017. It is also one of the initiators and leaders of the global anti-nuclear movement. "I hope that the award will become an impetus not only for the President and his team, but also for every one of us to contribute to the development of our country," Mr. Kabuldinov concluded.
