Nazarbayev's book on partnership of civilizations presented in Almaty

The book represents a continuation of the scientific research into the problems of postindustrial development of the society. The author suggests using the strategy of partnership of civilization developed by him in his previous works for addressing the problems of energy and environmental safety, unevenness of technological development, imperfection of economic relations. On the basis of the global forecast "The future of civilization for the period till 2050" developed by the Russian and Kazakh scientists, N. Nazarbayev forms a strategy of efficient solution of those problems through the principles of radical renewal of the global society and partnership of civilizations.

The President proposes to consider his strategy at a regular session of the UN General Assembly and later at the World Summit on Sustainable Development as he suggests holding it in 2012 in Astana.

The participants of the III Civilization Forum appreciated the new Nazarbayev's book and noted its historical significance.
