Nazarbayev receives Financial Police Chairman
ASTANA. September 21. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Kazakh Agency on Fighting Economic and Corruption Crime (Financial Police) Kairat Kozhamzharov.
K.Kozhamzharov informed the Kazakh President of the results of the Agency activity over eight months; the Presidential press service informs.
The course of the reforms in the bodies of the Financial Police within the framework of the President's Decree "On measures on effectiveness improvement of law enforcement activity and judicial system in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was also discussed at the meeting.
"The Head of the State urged the bodies of the Financial Police to strengthen struggle against corruption and shadow economy", Kairat Kozhamzharov said it at a briefing to journalists.
