Nazarbayev received Russian Railways CEO Yakunin

ASTANA. June 4. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received head of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin, the Presidential press service reports.
Nazarbayev and Yakunin discussed the development of railroads and tariff unification as well as functioning of railway transport in the Single Economic Space and Customs Union.
Currently, there is a steady growth in traffic by rail between Kazakhstan and Russia. In 2011 the volume of freight transportation exceeded 100 million tons. The transit of rail freight via the territories of Kazakhstan and Russia grew 1.5 times.
