Nazarbayev proposes EBRD to provide local currency loans for Kazakh projects

ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to provide local currency loans for the Kazakhstani projects.
"I would like to draw attention to the development of a loan market based on our national currency," Nazarbayev said at the EBRD Annual Meeting in Astana on Friday.
According to the President, in the long run that would be important both for Kazakhstan and for the Bank.
