Nazarbayev proposed to build high-speed highway Minsk-Moscow-Astana-Almaty

"The territory of the Eurasian Economic Union should become a continent-wide infrastructure across Eurasia. It important to work out and implement a number of projects", said Nursultan Nazarbayev. The President proposed to create a single Eurasian telecommunications network, to build a high-speed railway line along the route Minsk-Moscow-Astana-Almaty, to upgrade the existing network of roads and railways, as well as realization of "Caspian - Black Sea" channel project.
