Nazarbayev notes importance of coop with high technology firms of Japan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is interested in the participation of leading Japanese companies in joint high-tech industries, this statement was made by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Akorda.
"Kazakhstan is interested in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Japan. We consider your country as one of the most important strategic partners in the Asia-Pacific region", told the President to the Ambassador of Japan Masayoshi Kamohara.
"Taking into account the high technological level of your country, Kazakhstan is interested in the participation of leading Japanese companies in the joint high-tech productions", he added.
Nazarbayev stressed the need to expedite the signing of the Agreement on the Liberalization, Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments which will contribute to a full-scale trade and economic partnership between the two states.
