Nazarbayev meets with Turkmen President in Ankara

"The meeting was held on the sidelines of the swearing-in ceremony of Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara. The leaders of the two countries touched upon the key directions of bilateral cooperation in commercial and economic, transport and transit, fuel and energy spheres as well as the pressing issues of international agenda," the statement reads. The meeting also focused on the upcoming visit of President Nazarbayev to Turkmenistan and the opening of Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway line.
