Nazarbayev meets Turkey's business leaders

Among the participants of the meeting are the heads of holdings, specializing in construction, energy, trade, financial services, pharmacy, metallurgy, oil and gas sector and textile industry.

Thus, Calik Holding has its branches in 12 countries of the world. One of the largest projects of this company is construction of Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline which aims at linking the Black and Mediterranean Seas and building an oil refinery at Ceyhan port with a capacity of 15 mln tons of oil per year.

As earlier reported, N. Nazarbayev announced Kazakhstan's and Russia's readiness to participate in the pipeline's construction.

Cukurova Holding is another important representative of the Turkish business. The Holding is a Turkish conglomerate covering over 150 Turkish and international companies in 20 sectors of economy. The Holding specializes in provision of banking and financial services, in telecommunications and construction sector, car-building, metallurgy and tourism. The company does not work in Kazakhstan but expresses great interest in our country.

One more company - Hedef Alliance - is one of the leading distributing companies in pharmacology.
