Nazarbayev is positive about Kazakh-Russian bilateral cooperation in 2013
Moscow. December 24. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev is appreciative of Kazakh-Russian cooperation in 2013, the head of state said at his bilateral meeting with the Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
"We signed the Treaty on Good Neighborliness and Alliance in the 21st century", - Nazarbayev said. - "Today we plan to ink an Agreement on military-technical cooperation, a roadmap for joint work on Baikonur-related issues. It enables us to attract Ukrainian partners".
The President noted that interstate contacts had helped solve the problem of oil products' export to Kazakhstan. He thanked the Russian party for active participation and effective solution of problems emerging in the course of bilateral cooperation.
V.Putin underscored that a series of documents had been prepared for today's meeting. "Since our previous meeting, a lot of work has been done to settle issues helping deepen and expand our cooperation in quite sensitive areas, including energy and Baikonur", - the Russian President said.
N.Nazarbayev arrived in Moscow yesterday to take part in the meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The meeting will consider key aspects of cooperation within integration structures - the Customs Union and Single Economic Space as well as a range of issues related to the creation of Eurasian Economic Union.
