Nazarbayev familiarized with production process at gold recovery plant of Vasilkovsky Mining and Processing Complex

AKMOLA OBLAST. May 28. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ As earlier reported, Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in Akmola oblast with a working visit today. The President surveyed Vasilkovsky Mining and Processing Complex. After then the President got familiarized himself with the technology of ore processing and gold production.
N. Nazarbayev participated in a launch of a new production line and looked through the samples of the products to be manufactured at the plant.
As is known, by 2010 the gold recovery plant of Vasilkovsky Mining and Processing Complex plans to process up to 8 mln tones of ore and produce at least 13 mln tones of gold per year.
