Nazarbayev extends condolences over Eduard Shevardnadze's passing

The Head of State conveyed his profound condolences to the family and relatives of the ex-Georgian leader and noted that Mr. Shevardnadze was an outstanding son of the Georgian nation and a far-sighted politician who made a big contribution to the development of his Motherland. "His professionalism and commitment as well as personal qualities had gained him genuine respect of all people he knew. We will always cherish the memory of Eduard Shevardnadze in our hearts," the message of condolences reads.
