Nazarbayev: Despite negative developments in global economy trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Romania is growing
ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has had a talk with the Prime Minister of Romania Victor Ponta, the press service of Akorda informs.
The parties went into the issues of two-way political cooperation as well as mutual activity bettween the two countries in economic, trade, investment, transport and logistics industries.
The Head of State noted that the visit of the Prime Minister of Romania to Kazakhstan was a good opportunity to expand the partnership between our countries.
You have met with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, as well as members of the Government, and analyzed new directions for future collaboration. Today between our countries there is a trend of summits: I have paid a visit to Romania, and the Romanian President visited our country. Despite the negative developments in the global economy, the trade turnover between the two countries is growing. Important point is cooperation activities of RomPetrol, and we are grateful to the Government of Romania for the constructive position on this issue, said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
V.Ponta thanked for the meeting and noted fruitfulness of the talks with the Kazakh colleagues. Prime Minister of Romania also expressed hope for greater interaction across the entire spectrum of relations between the two countries.
