Nazarbayev congratulates Obama reelected as US President
ASTANA. November 7. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to the U.S. President Barack Obama in connection with his confident victory in the U.S. presidential elections today, Kazinform has learnt from the Presidential press service.
Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Barack Obama personally and on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan.
'The calls of the U.S. Leader for hope and progress strike a deep chord in the hearts of Kazakh people,' the telegram notes. Nursultan Nazarbayev stresses that while sharing Barack Obama's views on formation of a nuclear free world, Kazakhstan is taking concrete measures to achieve this noble goal.
The President has expressed confidence that further dialogue with the newly reelected President of the United States will strengthen the Kazakh-US strategic partnership.
"I am sure that in such a difficult period the United States under your leadership will be a powerful force to ensure stability and prosperity in the world. I wish you and your family good health and happiness and success in your work, as well as the welfare to the people of America," the congratulatory message reads.
