Nazarbayev charges to expand language learning centres network

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has charged to expand the accredited network of the national language learning centers, the Akorda press service said following the results of the meeting of the President of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Culture Minister Arystanbek Mukhamediuly.

"It is crucial to collaborate with the civil society, continue the development of the accredited network of the national language learning centers. Besides, it is necessary to intensify efforts jointly with all artistic unions, people's Assembly of Kazakhstan, the World Association of Kazakhs, Bolashak Fellowship Programme. As for the socially important literature, attention should be paid to publishing books with qualitative content interesting for the public. The issues should be purposed to enhancing the country's role at home and abroad," the President said. As stated there, there are 8,000 local and 39 national cultural organizations whose role grows constantly. This points to the fact that the country's welfare and interest in culture and education are deepening. Besides, the sides debated opening of the National Museum, cultural aspects of preparations for EXPO 2017, and key directions of the ministry's activities.
