Nazarbayev backs Parliamentary initiative to adopt 20th Anniversary Independence Declaration

TANA. September 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has backed the initiative of members of the Parliament to adopt the declaration dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.
"This is an important milestone for us all," Nazarbayev said at the Parliament's joint session on Thursday.
According to him, the declaration will be a significant document aimed at consolidating the Kazakh society.
