Nazarbayev awarded ISESCO highest award
ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM President Nursultan Nazarbayev has been presented the highest award of the Islamic Organization for Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) - golden mark «ISESCO Shield»; the President's press service reports.
Today within the 38th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers the Head of State received Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri.
The issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri handed over the highest award, the golden mark «ISESCO Shield» to N.Nazarbayev for his outstanding contribution to strengthening Islamic solidarity, development of the Islamic world and promotion of humanitarian values on the global level.
