NATO week in Armenia opens in Yerevan

YEREVAN. October 12. KAZINFORM. The NATO week in Armenia opens on Monday in Yerevan, the capital of the South Caucasus country; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
This week, which will last until October 16, is the third NATO week held in Armenia with a busy schedule of events in Yerevan and other regional cities.
Armenia is cooperating with NATO within the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) and although the country is set to intensify practical and political cooperation with the military alliance it does not seek NATO membership; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
