National Dialogue on Social Services to support human trafficking and domestic violence victims
ASTANA. KAZINFORM National Dialogue on Ensuring Access to Special Social Services for Victims of Cruel Treatment, including Victims of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence in Kazakhstan is the event that is aimed to touch upon a wide range of questions related to the acting law on Special Social Services adopted in December 2008.
It is also aimed to assist those citizens affected by social disadaptation and deprivation as a result of cruel treatment.
The event will bring together members of the Parliament, representatives of relevant executive bodies, international organizations and local NGOs. International experts from Russia, USA and Kazakhstan will share experience and best practices of their respective countries. It will take place on September 17 in Astana, the OSCE Centre in Astana said. Organized by the OSCE Centre in Astana, Human Rights Commission under the President of Kazakhstan, the Mission of International Organization for and the US Embassy in Kazakhstan,the National Dialogue is part of the Centre's longstanding efforts to strengthen the protection and support of human trafficking and domestic violence victims.
