National coordinators on preparation for nuclear security summit to meet in Tokyo

ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ A meeting of the national coordinators on preparation for the nuclear security summit scheduled for spring, 2010 in Washington is to be held in Tokyo on December 2-3. Kazakh MFA's Press Secretary Ilyas Omarov has made it public at the briefing.
According to him, the Kazakh side will be represented by National Coordinator of Kazakhstan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Umarov.
"The meeting participants will discuss the issues connected with preparation for the summit, including global aspects of security, and the issues of countering illegal traffic and non-proliferation of nuclear materials", I.Omarov said.
