National Bank of Kazakhstan issues coins to commemorate 7th Asian Winter Games

ASTANA. October 19. KAZINFORM The National Bank of Kazakhstan has issued a new series of gold and silver commemorative coins devoted to the 7th Asian Winter Games 2011.

The 100 Tenge gold coin, 999 fine, was minted in a limited edition of just eight thousand pieces. The obverse of the coin depicts a stylized image of ski run and the number "2010", corresponding to the year of issue. The image of the Tien-Shan fir-tree is on the left side.

On the reverse there is a logo of the 7th Asian Games 2011 on matted background of the stylized ice located in the center. The image is framed by ideograms of winter sports.

The certificate of the National Bank guarantees the coin authenticity and covers the following specifications:

Name: 7th Asian winter games 2011;

Face value: 100 Tenge;

Metal: gold;

Standard of fineness: 999/1000

Weight: 1.24 g.;

Diameter: 13.92 mm.;

Year of issue: 2010;

Quality: proof;

Mintage, pcs: 8 000

The coin is a legal tender in Kazakhstan.
