N. Nazarbayev took part in live conference with villagers first connected to digital satellite TV
PAVLODAR. January 18. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ The family of 106-old Hafiza Timesheva from Chigirinovka village of Shcherdaktinky district in Pavlodar region personally expressed gratitude to Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev during a live conference today. The village is one of the first ones where digital satellite television became available.
'Availability of digital satellite television is very special for remote villages. You have an opportunity to have full information about the situation in the country which is really important', the Head of State noted in the conversation with the local. The President also wished health, wellbeing and success to all members of the Timeshevs. N. Nazarbayev also thanked akim of the region B. Sagintayev for successful realization of the project.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev thanked the President on behalf of all villagers who now have opportunity to watch national television thanks to digital satellite TV.
The national television is now available for 1063 families.
500 low-income families were connected to the national digital satellite television for free.
